The renowned London department store, Selfridges, will recreate "Are You Being Served?", in a one-day charity sale of the wardrobe of the late Wendy Richard MBE, the actress who played Miss Brahms in the much-loved BBC sitcom.

The sale, “You Are Being Served Again”, will be held at Selfridges, Oxford Street, London, W1, on the morning of January 19th, in aid of The Lady Taverners, the charity which provides young people with special needs with a sporting chance.

Wendy’s showbusiness friends including ex-Eastender, Natalie Cassidy, June ‘Dot Cotton’ Brown, and Nicholas Smith - who played Mr Rumbold in "Are You Being Served?" - will help to sell the hundreds of designer outfits, shoes, handbags and accessories Wendy collected throughout her life from designers including Chanel, YSL and Gucci. She loved shopping and considered Selfridges as ‘her corner shop.’

Wendy was best-known for her role as the sexy Miss Brahms in "Are You Being Served?", which was set in the fictionary, time-warp department store, Grace Brothers, before going on to play the nation’s favourite soap personality, Pauline Fowler, in EastEnders. She died in February, 2009, after losing her battle with an aggressive terminal form of cancer.
